I have an Anniversary Jr that I bought about 6 months ago. It's a great axe - plays wonderfully and sounds amazing. The only things I changed on it are: I pinned the bridge, replaced the space control bridge with a tunamatic with Graphtech saddles, and installed Sperzel locking tuners.
The guitar is a comfortable size and it sounds quite similar to the larger bodied Gretsch's. I have about ten other guitars, but since purchasing the Annie Jr I have been playing it almost exclusively. It works great for almost every style of music I play, from jazz and blues to country, surf, and rock 'n roll.
It's just a very cool guitar.
Iv'e had my eye on one for some time now. Cash flow has always prevented the buy. Like the smaller size. Just wondering how much duplication it is to my White Falcon????
The Annie Jr. and White Falcon are going to be miles apart. There's at least 3 inches difference in the bout alone and then of course the pickups. It would be an awesome pairing though! If they ever come out with the bamboo yellow Annie Jr, I will be first in line to get it. I did see a White Falcon Jr. once and that was sweet!!
