I don't really have a favorite... but the songs listed in this thread certainly make for a good playlist :)

Ever listened to "Deep Feeling" ?
Its an instrumental played on a steel guitar by Chuck himself.

    My favorite Chuck Berry song?

Every single one that he wrote!!! :D

Chuck Berry laid down the foundation of rock 'n roll and literally everybody on this planet was influenced by him. Heck, I even nicknamed my school bus "Nadine" after his song over the lyric "...Got on a city bus and found a vacant seat, when I thought I saw my future bride walking down the street. I shouted to the driver, 'Hey conductor, you must slow down, I think I see her, please let me off this bus'. Nadine? Honey is that you?..."

"As I was motorvatin' over the hill
I saw Maybellene in a Coupe de Ville"

Solid Gold lyrics, no BS and straight to the point.

My favorite Chuck Berry song is the first one I ever heard and the only one I knew for a long time (also one that probably wouldn't be on many other people's lists): Almost Grown.

Great lyrics all over that song. "I was campaign shouting like a Southern diplomat" is a favorite of mine.

That's a great one too. "All dressed up like a downtown Christmas tree."

We play School Days on the school run, kids all singing along. My daughter says 'put chuckle berry on', I love that. Next track is Baby Doll, one of my faves.

"Working on a T-bone steak a la carte
Flying over to the golden state
When the pilot told us in thirteen minutes
He would set us at the terminal gate

Swing low chariot come down easy
    Taxi to the terminal zone
Cut your engines and cool your wings
And let me make it to the telephone"

The Beatles wrote some cracking songs but no Brit could ever come up with these lyrics!!!! LOL
In a class of his own that man but although this is my favourite Chuck Berry song I actually prefer Elvis' version... including the expletive strewn studio out-takes!
