Dance is lost on me. Obviously, I can't. I get that dancers are athletes, and are in great shape. It just doesn't "speak" to me. Having worked on stage for 40+ years, I can tell you a few things about dance.

    1. Setting up a dance show is a lot of incredibly hard work. Install a sprung dance floor, roll out and tape down battleship linoleum (and repeatedly mop it with Coke and water to make it sticky), Hang tons of lights and heavy, heavy cables, and spend hours focusing the lights, and hours of programming the lighting computer. Hours of rehearsals as well.

    2. SOB (symphony, opera, and ballet) wouldn't exist if they weren't subsidized. Some of the weirdest things I've seen performed on a stage is modern dance, followed by liturgical dance. None of these ever fill the theater---half a house at best. No way they'd ever earn enough to recoup their costs.

    3. The only people who dress stranger than dancers are artists. Dancers also smoke like chimneys---keeps their weight down. Unless you're a featured star, you'll never make more than $15K a year. Families have to subsidize their kids that dance.

Perhaps more choreographers than dancers. But this is one of the best dance music videos I've ever seen. Love their videos and the music is not bad either.

    Check out OKGO.

I'm still trying to figure out why many singers today can't perform without backup dancers.

It's just she doesn't see what's wrong from right.

Candidate to best lyrics ever, too.
