Reading through everyone's complete set lists being a little bit labor intensive, I thought it might be interesting to see what 3 songs you think are your band's best. (If you asked each member I doubt if the lists would be the same.) Hard to decide but:

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (Animals)
    The Road (Jackson Brown)
    Heart Full of Soul (Yardbirds)

    I'd say:
Stand by me, ben e king
    Yellow, coldplay
    glorybox, portishead.

We put our own stamp on them and sound quite good (we think), and also enjoyable to play.

5 (edited cause I put a calander to it..7 years ago) years ago was the last decent thing i was part of.. These are the songs the audiance responded to well in every crowd and were requested often, they are not a good snap shot of what we played or were about. They just simply got the best response.

    Cowboy Song- Thin Lizzy

    No Matter What - Badfinger

More Than a Feeling - Boston

    Close seconds:
    Whenever Wherever - Shakira
Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters
I Hate Myself For Loving You - Joan Jet
    Do Ya - ELO
    Walkaway Renee- Left Bank
These Arms of Mine- Otis Redding
Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye- Casino's

We hated it... Hang On Sloopy

Geeze - This sort of thing changes for me all the time! Right now, I'd have to list them as follows:

Oh, Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison
One Way Out - Greg Allman/Allman Brothers
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd

By the way: My 3-piece band consists of Me, Myself and I.:D
    Hope it still counts.

Your band must have had one hell of a singer and good harmonies. Your favourites include some major vocal gymnastics. Good on you.

Yours truly. We cheated though.. tune a half step down. We had three or four part harmonies and a chick did about a 1/4 of the songs. The Bass player did some tunes. The drummer was a Jazz drummer who did a bunch of studio stuff with Linda Ronstadt in her hey day. The Bass fellow was British and did the night club deal in London all through the 80's. That was not the best musicians I ever played with, but it was the most balanced mix of folks I ever played with. Everything just worked with what we had. The Chick had the look and did the Shakira stuff really well.
