I’m Conrad....My nickname has always been Rad. On the forum it is Radd because the forum does not allow for three letter names.

Well, I just ran across a Conrad guitar for $250. I forgot they ever existed. They were made in the 60’s and 70’s in Japan by Kasuga, est. in 1935, and imported and sold through a dealer here.

Not bad looking, and what a catchy name :D

Would ya do it, buy it if it was your name on it?

I wouldn't, but I'm not buying any more guitars.

That said, you've got a great reason for a NGD thread.

What's a better excuse, I mean reason for buying it. GAS with your name on the headstock! Lol

It would be a factor, but not the deciding one.

If my name were Conrad and I stumbled upon that particular guitar, yes, I probably would.

If it had the tone and feel I want then it would certainly be a part of the decision process but it would have to hit all my normal wants as well. I did buy the Broadway Jade Penguin. I was looking for a green Strat and stumbled on it. The name was the deciding factor, my daughter is Jade.

I decided, to just keep a few photos of the guitar. I might even frame a small one and hang it in my music area....

    It was fun considering it.

  14. I found a guitar company that makes guitars under my last name. They start at 4000 and go up. So i have not. But I did invest a handful of dollars on truss rod covers with the Freddyfingers logo.

I own a guitar (a Hamblin SJ) with my signature inlaid on the back of the headstock. Does that count?

Couldn't find any guitars with my name on them, but I did find this guy a while back, who I share a name with- guitarist, composer, instructor, and author Jeff Treadwell, from around Chicago.

My mom had the car in the 70s...it was not great, unfortunately. I would not suggest picking one of those up.
