You forgot Galoot's first name: Idgit.

    BLIMEY!!!

Nowadays, I find myself saying "Getouttahere" to a lot of BS. The faster and more dismissive you say it, the better.

    All these replies have helped...

It is after all, only a guitar lost in transit, not like I'm lying in a gutter bleeding out...or lost my bus ticket...

    Thanks guys/gals/others...

Now you’ve revealed your vulnerabilities. :)
Sounds good to me. I’m not a fan of Facebook.

FB is for narcissists seeking attention, and is a convenient tool for idiots to spy on themselves. I can see the marketing angle for businesses, and use cases for non-profits, but people willingly giving up so much information about themselves? Privacy is so important in these times.

I remember years ago seeing Tom Hanks on some late show (was probably Letterman) saying how he appreciated some of the phrases used in US Movies back when they couldn't swear. He posited the question, "Would you rather have someone say, "You're *insert appropriate expletive here*," or have them say, like Brando, "You ain't nuthin' but a gob of spit."..?"

Aussies love foul language. I've worked in companies where Jim Jefferies' language is the standard (even though I don't swear myself). I don't think there's a comedian who drops the C bomb near as much as him (he's best known for a piece on gun control - note, not encouraging political debate here! Just trying to frame where people may have heard of him). But there's also a humorous history of alternatives.

Swearing doesn't really work out if it is written out. It only works if it is angrily shouted, at inanimate object or the %&$/)(*#§ who caused it in the first place. Writing it ... doesn't offer the same relief as shouting does ... the physical engagement in it may also play a role here...

... it doesn't really help to write it... But I get the point, this sucks, stuff being stuck on delivery sucks ... ordered a guitar means wanting to play it.

    Now.

Nower than now. The Nowest, the absolute nowest!!!!!!!

“Great Caesar’s Ghost!” was the frequent solution in Superman long ago. Of course, that too came from Willie Shakes.

Twitter is right up there as well. I avoid mass social media like the plague. G-T and the GDP are the only online forums I frequent. I have a cousin who just HAS TO announce her every movement constantly. I really don't care what you had for dinner, what you drink, what team you root for, or your religious or political leanings. None of my business. A lot of people think that the world revolves around them. If you do, just guess where they shove the axle.

Having worked in commercial shipping it never ceased to amaze me that you could rectify something and have it still never get resolved....

How many people have posted info online, voluntarily, and had criminals use it against them?

Innumerable! Years of moderating have also led me to believe that demon rum comes into play, often.

I just received two FedEx updates this morning, looks like my MY Sig Jet is going back to the sender (Wild West Guitars), Pasadena, they should have it today.

I was expecting this, same thing happened this past June, once the document chain has been broken, there's no mending it.

    The excitement has evaporated.

    I have a decision to make...re-send or re-fund...

    *&^$$#@*&...
