Interesting mashup of Layla & Lady Writer.
Most excellent! When I read the title of the post my first thought was, "The outro wouldn't have seemed 15 minutes too long."
He did another one that I didn't like as much. This one is great. Other one was Sultans of Swing by Pink Floyd. He’s pretty talented.
Eric Knopfler likes Hawaiian shirts?
It wouldn't have the sour off key slide guitar work, either.
I saw this video a couple of days ago. Quite impressive.
Excellent. Thanks Doc.
Ooops. Mark Clapton.
He plays for Creamy Straits. Eric Knopfler plays for Dire Pink.
And that’s not a proper Aloha shirt, its his wife’s blouse.
Good silk Aloha shirts are scarce these days. And usually made in China.
“Dire Pink” could work if it included a cover blend by The Band.
Capelton. He the raggae shouter.
If Dire Straits wrote Layla it'd mean that Knopfler had a thing for George Harrison's wife.
Didn't Dire Straits join up with Chris Rea for a while? Dire Rea didn't last long though
Yeah, it ran too quick!
It usually only last for a day or two.
What if John Phillip Sousa wrote Layla? Or Beethoven?
You can play the "What If?" game all day, but it still won't really mean anything in the long run.
