I use my Gretsch's for any style of playing. Punk rock to pop , it's amazing how versatile gretsch guitars are if you know how to set up your rig.

I play play mostly old rock & roll and praise and worship music. All of it strictly in the bedroom, all of it badly.

I guess it doesn't matter what you play, as long as you're enjoying your Gretsch and you're having a good time. Guess that's what its all about.

I learned to play on a 1959 Gretsch 6124 Annie. so, anything I wanted to learn to play was what I played and still do it that way, too. never let the brand of guitar dictate as to what you play.

I play blues, R&B, and soul using a 6120DSW, a Setzer SSLVO, an Eddie Cochran, and a Duo Jet. They seem not to care too much about the genre.
