Like many others here, impossible for me to pick just 3... I'm blessed with so many different and wonderful guitars. It would have to be the top 7 or so. o_O

For me, it's an easy choice (I haven't got too many guitars). In order of purchase:

    - DeArmond T400, Tennessean orange.
    - Höfner 500/1 V62 bass.
    - Gretsch G6128T George Harrison signature.
  6. Tele295

But then you might find out I cheat! 2 for 1

Picking the top 3, for today. A bit much to pick from, which makes it virtually-impossible to narrow; and the list seems to change from week to week.

ES-Les Paul, with TV Jones T-Armond pickups - I am so thrilled with this guitar - great size, weight, and tone quality; very-much hollow inside, which gives it the best tone among all of my "semi-hollow" guitars when unplugged. Travesty that these are no longer being made. This is definitely among the guitars I will keep to the end.

'69 Thinline Mahogany - another guitar with very comfortable size, weight, and tone quality. Twang King pickup at the neck and True Velvet bridge pickup. Neck is a Baja '60s with rosewood board. Total keeper.

Fender Tele Player, Tidepool finish, Fender American Special rosewood neck, TV Jones TV-HT neck pickup and Fender CS Fat '50s Strat bridge pickup.
