    I have to claim

Recently I barbecued it with Korean bbq sauce, mmmm, I have bad it in the grill and candied it with some brown sugar and spices all good. I will pay it in flower and spices and fry it or just cook it plain. Had five slices this morning, the good stuff, 3/16” thick!

Hormel maple bacon. Great with eggs, pancakes or waffles, wrapped around pork chops or jalapeno peppers stuffed with ground sausage and cream cheese and cooked on the bbq pit.

While I like bacon, I think sausage in all its varieties is a better meat candy. Bacon is bacon. You can add some extra flavorings like maple or different kinds of smoke, but that's pretty much it. Cured pork belly.

Sausage OTOH - pork, beef, chicken, turkey, duck, venison, even veggie. Andouille (my fave), Bratwurst (my wife's number one; she's from Wisconsin), kielbasa, chorizo/chourice (Spanish/Portuguese), Kielbasa, Boudin. There's Chinese too - the list is endless.

While I do enjoy bacon, I grew up in a Polish butcher shop making kielbasa and kiszka. Most lunch meats are sausages. I do love a good steak as well. Filet mignons forever. The beef equivalent of sausage is ground beef---hamburger!

If I lived just across the Texas border I'd be eating free-range bacon and pork every day.
They're free and some farmers will even pay you to take them...when you have a 6.5 Grendel AR like mine.

Ribs for me, that would be my pick out of all the meats, next would be chicken, then steak.
I'm a bit plain like that.
