Hey hey little buddy!

Dinner on the patio! Listen......see that cornbread in the basket? OHMYGOSHBESTI'VEEVERHAD
Noice! Shame about the promise to the missus re the bike though. I'm the reverse - my GF actually bought my 1st bike for me, told me to stop dreaming, get out and learn how to ride the dang thing. Never looked back, and although she sometimes fears for my safety, she knows that I'd do anything (including ride safely) to make it back to her. When I was eligible to upgrade to an open licence - she got her licence and told me to buy a bigger bike so we could both go lol. Horses and courses, as long as you're happy
One of our very good family friends(on the WEEK my Father in Law and I were going to buy bikes!!)got hit by a 17 year old girl texting and driving and chopped off his leg at the scene. Clean off right to the hip. I was(understandably)forbid to buy a motorcycle from then on. Plus, now I'm a daddy and try not to do risky things. AND I live in ATLANTA. Craziest drivers and traffic in the US!
Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee. Beautiful here.
Bugger. I understand her concern for you, that's for sure. I bet the missus never texts and drives anymore if she ever did!
FWIW inattentive drivers are far more dangerous than motorbikes. The problem is some days you're the bug, some days you're the windshield....but on a bike you're always the bug. When there's drivers around I ride like I'm invisible and people are actively trying to kill me...that's about the best I can do. When I'm alone, I try to ride under 90% of what I think I can do...hopefully a 10% safety margin will be enough. I've had a couple of scares (I call them 'educational moments') so hopefully I do learn from those and ride even safer....
Hey man - I get it. If I were single and not a daddy, I'd be riding for SURE!!
Hung out with an old buddy that I haven't seen in a long time and played music al afternoon. Dinner with the daughter and her boyfriend, after, TV and books to read.
TSims---drive defensively! That's why I drive old trucks. I'll likely survive an accident, and I won't be out a ton of money, so, go ahead kid, and cut me off or pull out in front of me. I don't drive much anymore, and I've had too many close calls on bikes, so I'm all about safety these days. I can see why all Russians have dash cams.
Sorry mate I feel like I'm hijacking your thread, and I don't mean to. Enjoy the rest of your day -it looks like one to burn into the memory banks for less fortunate times
P.s. I have 2 kids and the GF has 1.
Not at all buddy. I've enjoyed it!
Wait a minute! Isn't that the infamous Bare Buns Nudist Camp Of Atlanta?!
YES!! I mean.....
Looks killer Tony, 105 deg here and wayyyyyy to hot to go riding or even go outside. Just another summer veg day for me.
As usual I will be spending my day, surrounded by idiots, oblivious to the fact I'm the greatest of them all(since I had a choice coming here). Surprisingly I'm not talking about Gretsch-talk.
Read up on signs of an upcoming heart attack and realise I show all symptoms. Also I'm surrounded by idiots.
It's gonna be a great day.
Recovering from the 4 hour set we played outside last night in 80% humidity
Having an exhibition of my work and my sons work in my studio.
