I have this Epi Broadway that I rearely play. Got it out today and played it. It’s been modded with Rose Black Velvets (HB sized P90s) and has flats on it, 12s I think. Plugged into my Jr. Barnyard w a bit of delay, into my old faithful little VC2110R, which hasn’t seen any action lately either. I cranked the master on the amp and added a little gain. Man what a tone. Didn’t even have the boost on the Barnyard on, much less the Tumnus in the pic. Bare fingers, flats, warm blanket to gut punch crunch with just how hard I hit the strings. Been grinning all day grooving along with some Lonnie Johnson. Today’s lesson: Never forget to love your P90s. Flat wounds are great! Don’t neglect your old amp just because you own other “better” ones. Tavo is a genius and I can’t wait to get my El Pescadoro!
