If I had to guess, I’d say most Mainers drink Pepsi/Diet Pepsi. I always preferred Coca~Cola to Pepsi, especially in a glass bottle.
But if it’s an option, I’ll take a Moxie!
I can't remember the last time I had a cola of any ilk. Ginger ale, once a week, Vernor's if it's available. Pepsi always left my teeth chalky feeling. Mostly, I drink water. On rare occasions I'll have a beer (craft or import).

On a regular day I only drink black coffees, and water (seltzer and regular).
If I go to a restaurant, sometimes I go wild and order an unsweetened Iced Tea.

Soda-pop is an extravagance for special occasions, and there aren’t too many of those.

My extravagance is proper lemonade---Chick-fil-a has one of the better versions.

I know that stuff. Back in my rowdy old days, I definitely drank my share of Shipyard Summer.

I love all kinds of low-sugar-vitamine water but you don`t find them everywhere over here. Plus they are double the price of a cola.
The Coca Cola company tried to establish them in our market about 10 years ago and nobody- except me- bought them.

Never had Moxie but would be willing to try. Being from Texas originally, it’s Dr. Pepper for me.

For you who imbibe, if you’re ever in Wisconsin, be sure to try New Galarus. If you’re not in Wisconsin, keep an eye out for anything Founder’s or Bell’s! Good stuff for sure. And if you’re ever in Rochester, MN, make damn sure you visit Forager — Mother of God that’s amazing beer!!!
