I know plenty of fellow Mainers who wouldn’t be caught dead drinking this stuff.
I, on the otherhand, have loved it since I was a babe.
I don’t drink soda-pops very often, but when I do, make mine a MOXIE!
If I had to guess, I’d say most Mainers drink Pepsi/Diet Pepsi. I always preferred Coca~Cola to Pepsi, especially in a glass bottle.I'll stick with Vernor's.
I can't remember the last time I had a cola of any ilk. Ginger ale, once a week, Vernor's if it's available. Pepsi always left my teeth chalky feeling. Mostly, I drink water. On rare occasions I'll have a beer (craft or import). If I had to guess, I’d say most Mainers drink Pepsi/Diet Pepsi. I always preferred Coca~Cola to Pepsi, especially in a glass bottle.
But if it’s an option, I’ll take a Moxie!
On a regular day I only drink black coffees, and water (seltzer and regular).I can't remember the last time I had a cola of any ilk. Ginger ale, once a week, Vernor's if it's available. My extravagance is proper lemonade---Chick-fil-a has one of the better versions. On a regular day I only drink black coffees, and water (seltzer and regular).
If I go to a restaurant, sometimes I go wild and order an unsweetened Iced Tea.
Soda-pop is an extravagance for special occasions, and there aren’t too many of those.
There ya go!Well...... the next time I visit York / Kittery I will try a Moxie .... but there always room in the car for this on the way home ..and that's all the Moxie I need

I know that stuff. Back in my rowdy old days, I definitely drank my share of Shipyard Summer.
Yeah, Maine’s been in on the craft brew thing for a long long time. I remember when there was only 6 brands 20+ years ago, but that number grew and grew. We've been on a New England Style IPA kick for the past year. Lots of good ones. Our local liquor store has a bunch from Maine Beer Company.

Same thing in Minnesota. Sometimes you have one from a small brewer and then you can't find it again.Yeah, Maine’s been in on the craft brew thing for a long long time. I remember when there was only 6 brands 20+ years ago, but that number grew and grew.
Lobster is the main Maine thing, but in a perfect world, Moxie would be!I'll admit, I was thinking lobster.

I agree, she doesn’t deserve the crown!Fascinating video! I think Ms Moxie needs to work on a script. Describing it as flat root beer, flat Pepsi and a drop of cough syrup os not great advertisement.
Giant wet spiders.I'll admit, I was thinking lobster.
