Hey Doc - Sweet Guitar!
Thank you, Sir! Hope all is well!
Now I want one even more.
It always seemed like the Duo Jet was fairly expensive. So in November last year, I bought a G5420T instead, and it was on a discount, so I saved some money on it; though I ended up spending more money on it anyway, since I decided to have a pair of TV Jones Classic pickups and a set of Sperzel locking tuners put in it. I like the blue on this one though.
Right now I'm liking this...completely Thunder Struck!
Beautiful...Well I guess that's in the eye of the beholder...
What a lineup...
Gotta Love Them Jets!
That looks like one I modded, a few years back, for a friend.
Now we’re talk’n beauty.......
Mine does not compare
Well, okay, any guitar's looks might be handicapped to some degree on account of sporting traditionally "f"-shaped sound holes, but your Gretsch is lovely nonetheless!
Love it. Mine's in pieces right now (new pickups and a Bigsby going in, maybe an additional knob or three, locking tuners, etc.), but these Historic Series Streamliners are something to behold, for sure.
My old G6118T- 120th Anniversary!
Sparkle jet but especially in green.
I've always liked that color combination....nice!
That is one of the beautifulest guitars in this thread!
This is a random pic I found.
I thought I'd better let you guys go first. Here she is!
Black falcon. I will own one, one day!
@Uncle Daddy - You're showing off
I have a Penguin coming in but these Champagne Sparkle Jets would be my top choice for most beautiful Gretsch! My next guitar purchase is going to be one for sure!
These...so much so that I’m sorely tempted to get my power jet refinished.
Lots of beautiful guitars in this thread!
I´d go with my old orange modded 5120, i love this guitar to death!
Also has huge sentimental value to me!
I wouldn´t trade it for anything!
