This is exactly the kind of thing I remember from the '80s. Poor Tenny. I think it could be saved, but I'm not sure of the Hilo vs. Humperdinker dimensions. To be fair, I'd be curious to hear what it sounded like before retrofitting. Electrotone bodies sound cool.

Back in the ‘70s, and into the ‘80s, it was just a used guitar with little value. Mods were not given a second thought.

Similar to today’s newer low to mid range guitars. Buyers are planning mods in their heads before they even get the guitar home. Although, today they are making guitars by the bazillions.

I think it would be more appealing if the mod had included a Floyd Rose to replace that antiquated Bigsby.
