I was looking to remove the P-90 neck pickup from my Telly that I put there about 20 years ago and put it back to a standard Telly setup.
I want that classic 50s - 60s Telly twang and was wondering if there is any love (opinions) out there for the Lindy Fralin stock recreations.

Fralins sound great.. I use his pickups all the time.. Both the vintage hots and the Blues Specials are great sounding. You should also check out Porter pickups... Equally great! I actually prefer the Porters over Fralins for Strats... Good luck!

I think the American Standard PUPs are the best!, Although the custom shop Nocaster bridge, and Twisted Tele neck combo sound incredible as well.

Plenty of good pup builders out there.. you could check out Peter Florence & Don Mare too apart from those mentioned... my Tele has Twang Kings & love the early 60's vibe!! all the best with your search...it's an exciting road your on!!

Just installed some Nocasters. Not super high output but they do capture the era vibe quite well. No hum either. For what I do, tiz the bomb! Twang Kings would be my second choice.
