All tube
Verb and trem
3 way attenuation (1 watt, 5 watt, 15 watt) so it can be used in a bedroom, a studio, or on a stage.
I’m loving 5 watt tube amps these days, and to see one come along with both verb and trem is really hot to me.
Haha yeah, I’m sure I will!..... so give it to them
...and tell us all about it...... so give it to them
Yeah, I had a Supro Tremo-Verb that I loved. It had a darker sound, and it sounded amazing with single coils.I can’t think of an amplifier manufacturer more deserving of your money, especially with those features.
IMO 10” speakers suit traditional PAF style humbucker guitars but I’ve heard them sound great with filtertrons too. Don’t know what signal chain was involved though unfortunately
Haha Oh, I know better than to expect a naysayer in this crowd!I’ve never had one but I’ve never heard a disappointed Supro owner and your possibly on the wrong forum if you’re hoping to find someone to talk you out of it![]()
Yeah, there’s no doubt my DR is the amp for Rock n’ Roll shows. It looks like a great amp Caleb, and I bet it sounds accordingly (more: Supro + Supro is a match made in heaven).
I only have 2 issues. The first one is, of course, the price. For a little more of that money you could probably have a point-to-point military specs 5 watter with the best stuff out there made for you any style (Supro included).
The second one is… experience: I’ve had both a modded Champ 600 (with a new case and a 10” Warehouse speaker) and a 70s Champ. I gigged with the 600 a lot, less with the 70s because of the 8” speaker. Both sounded great, both have been sold ‘cause they weren’t enough when the game gets tough.
And the game always get tough…You’ll end up playing solo gigs in rock’n’roll houses wishing you’d have dragged your DR with you…
In the world we exist mate, rock’n’roll it’s still moving some air..
Anyway, it’s a great amp so it will be a win/win situation.![]()
