An absolutely beautiful trem for lighter pulses is the Red Witch Eve, it don't get too extreme but it's sound is sublime.

Boston bred garage rock from the early '80s. I played this album to death back in the day.
Also, a shout out to Heinzman for the Rudi Protrudi clip. The Fuzztones are one of my all-time favorite bands. You don't hear too much about them these days, but along with the Cramps and the Lyres, they more or less spearheaded the garage revival at the time.
