A line in Maynard Ferguson's "He Can't Swing" gives a nod to Duke Ellington's "It Don't Mean A Thing" (If it Ain't Got That Swing) by almost quoting it without actually doing so. I love the lyrics, even if it's slightly off-topic.

Happy Daze are here again.
Does this mean Rock & Roll has jumped the shark?

Lol. Having just left the topic of Clickbait in the thread
about selling off 20 assets in retirement:

I am confronting my reluctance to play several 3 minute youtube videos to find lyrical Faberge Easter Eggs.

The Beatles’ All You Need is Love starts with The French National Anthem.

World Party’s Way Down Now was already sounding a lot like Sympathy for the Devil before they added the "Hoo hoos" at the end.

The Pixies v2.0 wrote a song about Kim Deal called All I Think About Now and used her "ooo-ooohs" from Where is My Mind but reversed the pitches ["oooh-ooo?"].

All the Bond songs use the naw-ne-neh-nah-nah-nah James Bond theme in them somewhere.
