eeewwwww ...... it just looks ugly too . Not for me thats for sure
I think it should have the four knob Tele DeLuxe pickguard but it doesn’t look that bad to me.
"wide range" humbuckers that are NOT "wide range", and a Floyd Rose? On a tele? What's next? Jazzmaster tremolo and a tele bridge on a Strat?
Hehehehe this is like the Charvel Supertele my buddy was thinking about getting. I'm justing basking in the absurdity of this thing. It's like a Chibson joke.
Would it be Chider or Feina?
I’m not sure what to say.... I like teles and I like Floyd’s, but never together. This is something else
They been smokin it a while then.
This from '85
Agreed on the four knob deluxe setup. And I like Floyd Rose trems, and if I ever get another one, I’d prefer not having to buy a pointy guitar.
A trem on a Tele works for me, but not a Floyd Rose. And not humbuckers. Otherwise, I got no problem with it.
I like the look, black body/pickguard with maple looks killer to me.
But I have no use for that trem and way too expensive for my budget. I'd drop the Floyd and buy the MIM version or a G&L for less and like it just as much.
But that is Fender's thing these days (and they are good at it!); making strange models with odd mixtures of parts just in case someone wanted one like that.
I just threw up a little. Defo didn't need to see that.
Just yuck. And I can’t imagine anybody who plays with a Floyd Rose who wants WRHB pickups....
Every year Fender throws a bunch of poop at the wall to see what sticks. Most of the new stuff is short lived.
Every company looks to release something new each year but Fender does it in such a weird way, almost mix and match see what ya get. I’m a little nervous that Gretsch is doing some of that as of late.
At least it wasn't the same stuff they're smoking at Gibson.
Oooofff.....and $2,500. That's rough!
I kinda like it LOL! I’d probably remove the neck pickup and put a 5-screw Esquire guard on there.
Seriously? Gretsch is Fender as far as the marketing goes. You shouldn't be nervous, Gretsch probably wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the partnership with Fender.
