Could be the coolest pick guard I’ve ever seen. Maybe a thread about unique pick guards is in order.got bored waiting for the post office to deliver my wiring harness and didn’t want to spend any more money on a pickguard.

It’s Sunday morning. I have my Telecaster out. I’m playing quiet coffee house music through my Boogie using the clean channel at 5 watts. My wife yells down from upstairs, “You’re playing too loud!” What? She’s upstairs with her Facebook friends or on her Weaten forum. My Tele screams up to her, “Loud? You wanna hear loud?”

I was about to pick up my Strat last night when I heard my Tele screaming from inside the case...

My 2009 Squier CV50's Tele told me the same thing - it was right at 10 lbsbut played and sounded great..
So I ordered a lightweight GFS Daphne Blue paulownia body, and had my tech dude swap the CV50's neck and hardware to the GFS body.
Voila! 5.11 lbs now - and still sounds the same!
Mine is saying…I want a double-bound Sonic blue weight reduction program.
Though truthfully my CV Tele only weighs a very manageable 7.4lbs.
