Schecter is at it again, doing Schecter stuff. Look pretty cool to my eye!

I own A Schecter. Those offsets and the Teisco type guitar I want both. But I never find one used in my price range. Solid guitars with great pickups. And amazing quality. The solo is better than a LP.

Very cool. I get a bit of a Reverend, Duesenberg vibe.

Regarding the Solo...the pride and joy of my guitar collection is a Solo II Classic I had built by the USA custom shop. It is remarkable, the best guitar I've ever laid hands on. I'm half embarrassed and half proud to say that I own 8 custom shop Schecters. Bought all but the Solo used, and they were all in the price range of their upper end Korean stuff. Amazing guitars, but I think the age of outrageously good deals on them is gone. The word is getting out.

I see the Gretsch influence in the design. Sort of a jazzscheter in shape.

I prefer the red tort on the white guitar. All are pretty nice.

I got a Schecter Vintage SOLO in 2011. It's still speaks to me. And no, you can't have it.

They've been on my radar for years. Never had one in my hands but they look awfully cool. To me, it always comes down to the headstock. So many guitars have really cool bodies but the headstock can make or break the overall aesthetic and some of the Schecter guitars pass that test for me in spades.

I only own one modern Schecter, a Damien Elite 8. When 8s first started popping up, stores never had any. I tried an RGA8 and wanted to like it but there were a lot of horror stories. I couldn't swing an RG2228, I didn't like the idea of a short scale like the LTD SC-608, and I was wary of the Agile Intrepids. That pretty much left Schecter and I knew the Damien Elite 6 & 7 were really nice, the price was right so I special ordered it. It stayed in regular rotation for a long time, until I got my Kiesel and it was relegated to backup 8. I still play it from time to time. Anyway, that guitar really left me with a good impression of where Schecter is at these days.
