Nice amps. Awesome dog!
Don’t look now, but there’s a deer in your music room!
Thanks! Love em all, all are vastly different amps, that’s the point right? Stoke a different mood with each amp swap, makes finding inspiration easier!
. Even funnier because she was a “fawn Brindle” !
Nice to see so many tube amps in this thread
1966 Fender Tremolux, 1972 Fender Princeton Reverb with 12" speaker, Filmosound 389 conversion with 12AX7 preamp tubes, Filmosound 285 conversion with 6SL7 octal preamp tubes, and a 1961 Ampeg Mercury, also with octals.
A great choice.
I use my one of my two Gretsch playboyS made By Victoria
I mostly use a 15-watt Fender Super Champ X2 set to Bassman emulation, or a 5-watt Monoprice tube amp. Both of those are more than loud enough for use in my guitar room and I don't play out anywhere.
Is there any other kind?
Mesa Boogie Multiwatt dual rectifier into a v30 loaded 4x12.
I recently also got a bluguitar amp 1 mercury, i wanted to have something easier to carry around.
Also have a diy 1x12 cab
Early 2000’s Bogner Ecstasy Classic w/ class A switch (always engaged) with a Bogner 412 or 212 or Egnater 112 all w/ G12H’s, and an Egnater Tweaker 15W also with an Egnater 112. These two amps are generally run simultaneously these days (usually both through 112’s but sometimes the Bogner through the 412 and the Tweaker through the 212). I also have a recording project with my old band from back in the day, for that project I use a Marshall Vintage Modern through a Marshall Handwired series 412 and a Boogie Rectoverb through another Marshall Handwired 412. Those 412’s also have G12H’s btw, absolutely love that speaker (obviously lol). I also occasionally plug into a Soldano SLO 100 and a Reason SM-50 which are on indefinite loan.
Now that I typed that all out, it has become clearly obvious to me that I have a problem.
Yes, you need a good amp-switcher!
65 Princeton Reverb reissue ,before that a 1977 Music Man 2x10 HD130 combo.
Fender Deluxe TV front
Do you play them in alphabet order or by wattage or cabinet size?
Stuck in a condo so 1 watt for me. Still loud enough to irritate the neighbors if I want. Swapped out the stock speaker with an Eminence LegendGB128.
It's for sale, here:
I usually play guitars through my 69 Fender Daul Showman Reverb. Its mounted in a Fender Twin cabinet with 2x12” Eminence speakers.
Love it but at 64 it gets heavy
