Congratulations on your degree in ethanology!
I'm sad now, because I'm not qualified ... as a lifelong member in the church of morphine, this is against my religion.
I like beer , it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer , it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow ..............................
Whisky's too rough , champagne cost too much ,
and Vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain ,
as a matter of fact I like beer
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
I thought that was H.Simpson!
Homer's quote is---
"Alcohol---the cause and cure of all of life's problems."
I just noticed that there is no more beer in my houshold since months.
I used to keep a sixpack in my cellar just in case my father in law asks for it. I had to dump it because it went over the best before date. So I am obviously out.
I stopped serious drinking when I turned 21. About the only time I even have a beer now is when we go out to dinner----and that's rare. Haven't been out since the 'Rona hit. I don't drink much, nor often, so I drink quality. Sadly, most popular American beer is carbonated swill. Thankfully, small raft breweries are more common all of the time, and many eateries carry top imports.
On top of it all, my little brother drank up most of my lifetime allotment.
Damn! That's a lot easier than 4 years of medical school!
To my niece I'm Uncle John, to her children I'm Gruncle John. Great minds and all that.
Been a long time since I had any beer...
Miss my occasional Hoegaarden!!
Times are crazy people are strange.....
Congrats on the degree
I haven’t had a beer since... what time is it?
I haven't had a beer for several minutes now. But then, I just got back from riding my bike over the Sepulveda Pass, into the Valley, and back again for a 30.3 mile round trip, so I'm calling it re-hydration, though it's probably more of a carbo load. I can live with that, it's warm today.
I brewed my own beer from 1991-2015 but quit drinking when the alcohol kept me up most of the night.
I'm happy I get better sleep now but I miss my pale ales, Ipas, Belgian triples, and porters!!!
