The term "Snow Day" around here means put on your coat and boots and get your shovel.

 

I love that blond case, what is in it for your snow day fun?

Yes indeed. I have had a green one for a while on my nighstand and when I started working from home due to covid I bought the chrome one for my desk. I may get my son one for his room.

 

I've had the Luxo types for decades. Same basic idea. I still have old WWII military gooseneck fixtures. The nicest thing about these IKEA versions are the different colors, and the little handle that lets you adjust the fixture without cauterizing your fingers. I've worked in theatrical and architectural lighting for decades. These are great for task lighting.
