I finally managed to put a band together recently, and we've been working on some songs that feature my 6120 and my friend's Ric, but, unfortunately, you need more than guitar :(. We found Galeazzo Frudua's Youtube video lessons really helpful. Here are the two most recent songs we've learned:

There's no question, this guy knows what he's talking about. I remember dissecting these vocal parts in college and he’s right on, even with the many very subtle things the Beatles did that seemingly broke from "traditional" stacked thirds harmony.

I also found his accent charming. If he hadn't nailed the harmonies it would be funny, but seeing as he does such a great job, it just made me wonder if this is what we would all be imitating today had the Beatles been from his part of the world. :)
    Where is Galeazzo from, anyway?

I believe he's from Bologna. He has posted a series of lessons on Beatles harmonies, and puts new ones up regularly.

He also builds guitars and amplifiers: http://www.frudua.com/

Cool stuff. So if he were, say, John, what would the other Beatles names be? ;)

Galeazzo, Lars, Josef and Erling... The Fab Four! :D
