Only 1 LE. The Lake Placid Blue Falcon. In the Vegas sunshine
I have this same guitar ready for me to pickup next week.
Has this guitar given you the joy that I hope mine will?
Too bad mine doesn't have such a nice and refined "Bulb" headstock...
@THS3171 - we have the same one...
@Nubs - I would like the same one...
WOW!Now I'm all gassed up.Beautiful guitars.
Here’s my humble pair of Electromatics, both MF/GC FSR’s. Smoke Green 2012 G5420T, and Casino Gold over Snowcrest White 2018 G5245T
I don't know your expectations or the standards you have for your guitars, but I'm shure you'll be happy. Most members here on GT seem to really like their G5420s and I love mine.
It plays great: Great neck, no intonation issues (it stays in tune forever).
I also have a 2016 G2420T Streamliner, which ist heavily modified. But I don't see anything I want or need to change on the Electromatic, expept from the pickups: the blacktop Filtertrons are very good PUs, but I changed them for T-Armonds, because I allready had HS Filtertrons in my Streamliner and wanted Dynasonics.
So in short: yes, it brings me joy literally every day - playing it or just looking at it as a beautiful piece of art an the wall!
PS. I love that my serial number ends with the very approriate "666" for this rock & roll machine
Thank you for your reply, I purchased the guitar online based on the many positive comments I have a read about this model guitar. It’s my first Gretsch
Limited Ed 6118 Anni
Is the top on the Oops a solid Spruce top?
I CC.. I don’t think so. I believe Gretsch says it is. I should pull a p up in look. The Nashville’s top defiantly is...
The 1997 G460 was an odd bird, chambered body with a single cats-eye, Piezo under-saddle pickup and active electronics. I believe that very few of the orange version were made and the natural version I have is the only one I have ever seen or heard about.
Those pictures remind me of the ESP classical electric I just bought for my daughter
My limited edition 6121 KPW and 6120 FTW. No longer have the 6121 KPW.
The ESP Eclipse was an almost identical guitar to the G460:
