I don't use much as you can see.
Makes setting up & breaking down after shows so much quicker & easier :)

No i use the big muff for a few fuzz parts.
I use the overdrive channel on my Fender Hot Rod DeVille for my dirt tone...

Here's mine in its proper place. I'm going to add my PS 6 Harmoniser to it. [IMG]

ok so you got that Fender cranked for live work but i'm still surprised it delivers enough gain for your trashy music.

I've gigged with Hot Rod & used it as good platform for an MI Audio Super Crunchbox or OCD distortion pedal. I assume you've tried other dirt pedals also ???

Yes I've tried a few pedals but prefer the natural sound of the drive channel. It delivers plenty of dirt/crunch. I only set the gain to 4 or 5 & that's plenty..

The club/pub gigs we do the amps are usually mic'd up through the PA.. usually get the volume to about 4. Theses things are loud!!!!

Here's mine in its current iteration. Though the Green Pony that I built has been replaced with a Spaceman Atlas III.

The DD-500 is set for an always on reverb (with oscillation) and then channel B is an EP-3-ish tape delay (also with oscillation), the Belle is purely for slapback stuff with a slight volume boost via the internal gain knob. There's a theme here, as the Meteore also does great oscillation effects :D

I might be trading the DD-500 for the new DOD Rubberneck or the Belle Epoch Deluxe. I haven't decided yet, haha. The big open space will be for an expression pedal or the FS3X footswitch depending on which direction I decide to go with the delay.

yeah ok - I use more gain than you so a HR won't deliver it even with gain maxed.
I've used Super Crunchbox, Astrotone Fuzz, OCD with HRs clean channel and Maxon OD-9 for a booster :)
