Final touches complete...
Looks great !
Interesting knobs. Cool ax!
Loving how you made it your own!
Nice, one of the best colours in the streamliner lineup IMO.
That there be stylin'!!
I've always liked the look of abalone. Nice use of it on the rod cover. At first I thought the knobs were rectangular, btw.
Totally agree. Looks like brushed fur in sunlight. The depth of the finish is deceiving, in a good way. There's always that, "Will it look like the picture...", inner dialogue, but she exceeded any expectations, by far. Selfish me hopes they stop using this finish. A before/after comparison>>>
Love the wooden knobs and the truss rod cover.
Thanks. I looked @ the headstock as its' own ornament. I wanted understated w/ a touch of flash, I got lucky matching the fret board. The black ties it in & I blacked out the screws to make them go away. (If I could find a black pickguard w/ abalone logo, that'd be the cherry.) This piece has some really cool holographic effects>>>
I like the gold; there's enough black already and so the gold pops. nice.
ty. Got lucky w/ the knobs, too, matching the stain, subtle, semi-invisible, touch of flash, (running theme?). I wanted any indicator to not be obvious, no dots, or lines, these checked all the boxes.
yeah, I think the maple in the knobs ties the binding in nicely, too.
