Sticking to my one guitar out to get one in I’m selling an acoustic and I just ordered what might well be an amazing “Tele”

A Reverend Eastsider S. made in Korea. My first reverend.

This is a collaboration between Reverend and Pete Anderson.

Roasted maple neck, locking tuners, orange drop capacitors, strat style three pickups with a push pull pot to add the bridge PU to the neck PU or have all three, plus a locking floating bridge tremolo.

I did not know much about the company so I read about it. They are into making high quality guitars at affordable prices. One thing I really liked and you almost never see, the owner is the admin and active on the Reverend forum….Very cool. He is also very active promoting his guitars like Joe C. was with Gretsch. I miss Joe.

Here is the owner, Ken Hass yuckn’ it up at Andertons with Greg Koch

I don't have this particular guitar, but I do have one Reverend, and the quality of that one is amazing for the price. Congrats!

I will be very interested in your comparative review of this beauty against one of your Gretsches. :)

+1 on Reverend. Great all around.

Greg Koch has been a big winning addition with Reverend.

I missed this thread somehow but very intrigued and cool timing as I was looking at some Strat alternatives that is not quite a Strat. I forgot about this one when I almost pulled the trigger on the Eastsider T for my Tele purchase back in May.

I know these are great quality and love the neck profiles but with a new amp, Tele, 4 pedals and a power supply since May, anything new will have to wait until the new year.

Congrats radd on a great addition to the stable and would love to hear your thoughts on it after you and this beauty are better acquainted!

I reckon the Nashville style is nearly all of Leo’s best ideas in the one guitar. The strat middle pickup giving you the quack. The bridge giving you the twang. Mine is a fender so is modified so the push pull switch gives you the vital neck bridge combo.l which comes on yours as standard.

It’s a brilliant instrument. I wonder what the Nash has?

The Reverend arrived. What a beautiful guitar. Great fit and finish and the very best set up right out of the box I have ever experienced in over 50 yrs of playing. The floating tremolo worked perfectly, stayed completely in tune and the string action was perfect. It even had a great tone.

Ok, I sent it back. Why? Nothing to do with the quality of the guitar, it is 100% on me. In my advanced years I work hard to keep the joint pain in my fretting hand at bay. For my playing style this means full or chunky necks. The Reverend had a great feeling neck but it was on the slim side for my needs. I liked the guitar so much I tried very hard to make it work but after two days my knuckles were just beginning to bark at me.

The return was okayed and I sent it off yesterday.

The good news, my 5420 and Tennessee Rose have successfully consoled me.:D
