Saw The (English) Beat Last Night

Finally saw Dave Wakeling and the Beat last night. Postponed twice. He's the only original member (RIP Ranking Roger.)



Sounded good, played everything I hoped to hear.

My sister introduced me to them when I was still a wee lad, Bob Marley, too (via Babylon by Bus).

I saw Dave Wakeling's English Beat at Whisky Jacques in Ketchum Idaho in, I think, 2010. It was incredible, skanking hard right in front.

They played an October 30th show and had so much fun that they played Halloween night. It was incredible, again and left an indelible impression on me.
