The factory bridge on my 5622T-CB rattles and is annoying as heck. So I decided to go with a new bridge in hopes of beating the rattle and help keeping it in tune a bit better after using the tremelo. I went with the ABM 2400 bridge and got it for $75 shipped. I am looking forward to it and will report back on how it works out for me.

Where'd you get the ABM 2400 for 75$ That seems like a smoke'n deal

I got it at Riffcity guitars. It sells for $89 and I had a $15 coupon. Even at 90 bucks it is a good deal.

IMG_0738.JPG Put this one on my 5420. Works well. Unfortunately, I had to replace the Compton I had on it because intonation was out and could not be adjusted due to the pinned bridge.

I put one on my 6128 and have really liked it. I also don't prefer a Compton on a short scale either. I can hear that intonation even if I pull the pins and angle it.

Picture at thomann.de looks rather different - is this the same thing? Considering one for a 5422...

I think he has a previous version with the more-squared edges.

Setzer uses tune-o-matics. The roller bridge on my J Mascis Jazzmaster didn't improve tuning stability. Interesting thread but I'll stick to the stock bridge on my Streamliner.

He also has a masterful tech resetting up/fine-tuning his guitars every single time he pulls it off his shoulder. ;)

Lol - actually I keep a trio of techs around at all times. Me, myself, and I. They are simultaneously mind-readers AND inept, which continually baffles me.

Well, in that case you have two more techs on call than "me".

Here's a photo of the new gen ABM 2400 on my Panther:

I like the oval post holes, which allowed fine adjustment of the strings over the pickup pole pieces. But you need to be careful with the adjustment screws there or you will bend the posts inward, which can lift the outer edges of the bridge base from the body's top.

Yes. The guy admits that G's are temperamental and take some time to break in and stabilize. Still I'm doing great with brand new Streamliner. I guess the pinned bridge helps!

I'm thinking of this Rollerbridge for my new Guild too. What about the tonal quality?
