  2. Theres a guy by the name of Damian Bacci, he out out a dvd where he shows nothing but rockabilly guitar licks. He does a good jom and its not over anyones head. The pint is though, that he includes a cd of backing tracks to the stuff he showed you. You can see some samples on You tube, but your better off with the dvd.

big Kenny, this is a cool site/link.... I am not able to complete a download of a track however, comes up with a server error or sorts... must one be a member or register to save a track to computer? or is it just me?

Yep, rock this track's more unique than other sites ... got a cool song with starts and stops, like Blue suede shoes. According to GDP, there's more coming.

I always making the backing tracks for myself because you learn lots of important things about rockabilly, music theory, rhythm theory, mixing etc while making the tracks.
You don't need advanced stuff just a computer with some music creator and some drum building device or software. You have the guitar, you can do the nice bass lines, you can experiment with the walking techniques and at the and of the day you will learn much more as you would to play on a stock backing tracks.

These are all home made backing tracks:

    PacRat: thanks!

Pete, those vids are great! Beautiful guitar, incredible playing, cool tunes (love that style), and great tones in your tracks. Where'd you get slap bass and drums?

I second that! Damian's a good teacher and a nice guy too, very willing to give advice. Recommend his t-shirt too!
Damian's website - http://damianbacci.com . He also sells his dvd on eBay.
