RIP Michael and thanks all for the great music.
Rosewood Bitters has been a longtime favorite with Joe Walsh providing the slide work and Todd Rundgren on the clavinet.

Damn, this one hurts. He was a favorite of ours. "I Got What I Wanted" was 'our' song. Mts. Slim will be sad as well as I. He and Joe Walsh were the prime reasons that Cleveland Rocks! RIP Michael. Thanks for the music.

I saw MSB in concert a few times in Pittsburgh... He was supposed to open for The Outlaws at the Civic Arena but half the band had the flu and couldn't perform. Nick Guilder filled in, and was chased off the stage by the angry crowd lol...

I heard of this guy...he had a hit on the radio. But more so because I lived near Columbus, Ohio for a couple years in the mid 90's and visited Cleveland a few times since my buddy lived there and the Flats were cool. Mike later became a local DJ it seems. RIP Mike

Great bit from The Drew Carey Show featuring many great guitars players auditioning for Drew's band. Including Michael Stanley and Joe Walsh (rocking a Gretsch.)
