    I had a clear pick guard on my old 5120 ... they look great IMO

    Love my 5420 with clear pickguard.
    Edit: Made the bracket a bit shorter tho, cause it hit the pup rings and made a rattling sound at certain frequencies. So the bracket on the 5420 causes pup ring rattle instead of bridge rattle :eek: :p The stock pickguard uses the same bracket, so if you have a rattling sound on the stock guitar, be sure to check that before investing in a new nut or bridge :p

    I had one that was on my ‘56 6120. Because it was old and used, it had become scratchy and and cloudy. I didn’t like it, so I took it off and put it with the fixed arm Bigsby that was also on that guitar. I kept scraping my knuckles on the fixed handle.
