Yup. They’re amazing.
They sound awesome clean, but do some gnarly stuff too if you want them to.

Here’s a recording I did with some friends of mine using my 6120 with the Butts. Maybe not the best performance in my life, BUT I’m pretty happy with the sound of my guitar.

Guitar sounds great. Quite a From Dusk 'Till Dawn feel to that track.

I put a pair of Ray Butts pickups in my Annie. The clarity is a bit better and the tone is a little brighter. Ray Butts pickups are very low output. Raising the gain in my Mesa Boogie Express 5:25 didn't help much but raising the treble which in my amp, is a gain stage, opened things up. I'm still not completely satisfied. I'm not a curmudgeon. I love the Classic and Classic Plus pickups in my SG. I ordered a Compton chambered titanium bridge for Annie that should arrive by the end of the week or early next week. I'll see how it goes. There's a possibility that my high frequency hearing loss affects my perception. We'll see.
