I love Malaysian food.. had some nice dishes there way back in the 90's.
Love those neons, you don't see them as much as you used to.. I wonder if it's a dying art form ?

I have always loved neons, I hope they don't disappear. Back in the mid-70s I was the sound engineer for the Australian band Skyhooks. Their backdrop was a huge neon sign of their name that they flew upstage. Transporting this thing was a nightmare. Most setups we would have a neon repairman turn up onsite to do running repairs. Fascinating to watch those guys work and the craftmanship employed.

Led strips may revive the art.

I love how Malaysian cuisine is enriched by Chinese, Thai and Indian influences, and not watered down or buried like in Indonesian food. It truly is Asian fusion.
