SOLD Quick Turnaround - G5135 Electromatic Corvette

I just got this 12 days ago, but with the arrival of the B&G this one is surplus. I have been stockpiling parts to turn this into a Nono Signature Model, but will use them on something else. $500 shipped to the US, will ship abroad. PM if interested.



As you can see, some discoloration of the hardware, a few dings, but solid. Lightweight. No case or gig bag. (But ti does have a jack cup!)

HELLO, MCFLY!!! Think McFly, THINK!

For those of you not in the know, this is a steal. For those of you who DO have one, you know where I'm coming from.
This guitar will blow the doors off of just about any current Electromatic or Streamliner Jet model.
This model has Gretsch Megatron (not "Magnatron") pickups. It's the only model to ever have these, and you can't buy these pickups aftermarket. Responsive, snarly and aggressive when pushed, they are reminiscent of Supertrons but a wee bit hotter. and the upper fret access is unmatched on any other Gretsch model. Contoured mahogany slab goodness at its best.

This is a bargain of a rock & roll machine. Since there is no case, you should know that the Corvette will fit easily in certain (but not all) traditional Fender-style rectangular cases, so finding a case is not really that difficult.

I was thinking the exact same thing! I need to hold out and get a proper fitting case for my Electromatic.

Not Magnatrons, those are a TV Jones pickup.

Megatrons. Completely different pickup.

Actually, thanks for asking. It's a piece of Velcro (not sure what it was used for.) I peeled it off.

If you don't like them, I assume someone would happily take the MegaTrons off your hands for a good price. Not sold commercially.
