Great mods, looks like a killer guitar!
Dressed it up very nice. Looks great!
That scratch plate looks great with the village amber. Much better than the standard tort. Where did you get it?
Great work - beauty of a guitar. I tried one out at Cosmo's Music last fall.
It felt great and really did get my attention in a wall full of guitars.
In 'my opinion' It plays 'better' than a G6120 I owned that I've just sold on to a friend....
The neck is a wee bit thicker/deeper than the 6120 but that suits me fine.... The 6120 never really impressed me for what it was...both the new 5420's and 2420's like this Streamliner are just as well made as the 6120's (I've owned a few) THIS particular guitar played right and felt right as soon as I played it before the mods (I had a choice of 2 in the shop)....When any guitar has that 'come to me' feel , you know you're going to like it... A guitar doesn't have to be expensive to play right....
Looks killer!!! Nice Job!!
Hello, i had some time and parts..here is my 2420 into a horton heat...
i think it needs a gold pick guard...opinions...?????
Gold would in deed look cool on there baphyl.
What's not to be proud of?
Noooo, that would clash. I think a translucent white would look great on there.
Man I gotta say, all these sweet inexpensive Gretsches dress up so well, and are so impressive for their price range,
I don't know what took me so long to come around to them.
That looks SUPER!
Nice mods, advid! Looks great!
