Thin spiderwebs from the Martin and the Guild. Plus some dust.

Seeing these pictures, Mrs MT says she has nothing to do with cleaning the guitar room.

How cool is that, your spider plays guitar. I can’t train our spiders to do anything, be thankful they’re not getting into trouble.

Funny as I dusted off one today. Been on the wall hanger for over a year......with no strings!

Not sure what it is, but spiders and my main floor go hand in hand. I can clean the shop (most of the main floor) and before I am done they have made new webs.
Thankfully upstairs, and the guitar area, is a little more normal for wildlife. Very rarely see cobwebs even on the cases. A little dust perhaps. I will call that good luck for me

When I was playing at a Farmer's Market today, a spider dropped down from the shelter over the stage and landed right on ME! He was hanging from my glasses for a bit before I noticed him and shook him off. It was a really tiny one.

Just another reason to keep 'em safe in their cases.

In fact you are a lucky guy.
Just imagine if God would not have sent you some spiders but an elephant to get some attention for these guitars!

Years ago when I was in college, living in an old house converted to apartments, I had trained spiders. They only built webs along the baseboards. I had no other bugs whatsoever (except for the one horrific Morning the Ants Swarmed in my Coffee Maker), and no other cobwebs. I would leave the baseboard webs alone until they got too dusty, sweep them away, and repeat. I thought we hadn’t pretty good symbiotic relationship going.

There is something to that. I don’t kill the little spiders in my house unless I find a black widow or brown recluse.
