Years ago I bought a Marshall Lead 12 V1 for 50 bucks. It sounds great but IMO largely due to a speaker change.
I can not find any markings on the speaker other than this label on the back.

    Anyone know what this is?

Wow, totally generic, except for made in USA. It appears to be a clone of a Celestion with ceramic magnet, looking at the frame and magnet. 4 vanes, and 8 holes too, with a 5" ceramic plate on it. The frame really does look like an eminence.

My bet is some early type of Eminence celestion clone. Unmarked/painted Blackheart or Legend?

No, thank you! It sounds surprisingly good. Way better than the puny stock Celestion G10D25 sardine tin.

Well I had this amp before Blackheart amps ever happened. I don’t see Blackheart using US made speakers, but I could well be wrong.
Legend was never a thing over here, although I did spot a few... so maybe. Tnx!
