It's from Monty Python's Flying Circus. It kinda means 'maybe'.
Exactly, if one sees the whole sketch, the employees around the table are summarily dismissed for having the wrong opinion, but somehow "splunge" is deemed safe and then everyone that's left agrees, "splunge"....
Anyone that says it doesn't belong, isn't hungry enough. Should it be in the starting lineup for topping(s) on a pizza ? The Hawaiian it is, other pizzas maybe not so much. If you were late for input on the order, grudge eat the pizza. You'll get to the other side and not regret it.
Seed? Interesting, I’m gonna try that!
I love Fennel, but so far have only used the bulb as a veggie in pasta(Tagliatelle) with roasted chicken breast, a smelly cheese, sometimes a bit of lemon zest, sometimes a bit of roasted Cashew nuts. It’s good!
crimes against humanity!!! freakin pineapple belongs in a cocktail.
All of those other combos are what I would call "open faced sandwiches "... Now get off my lawn!
Oh splunge for me too
You have to really like fennel to use the whole seed. I tone down the flavor by grinding a bit up and adding it to the sauce. Toasted fennel is good too! But I find it is good in a sauce.
Fennel makes the sauce...period.
No pineapple tonight but taco was pretty good! I added the crushed Doritos.
Pineapple isn't even in the top 10 of unusual toppings and/or crust I have seen used in some countries.
Does anyone else here like anchovies?
A few decades ago my youngest sister worked at a Domino's and would bring home the pizzas ordered but not picked up or mistakes or whatever.
Anchovies are so nasty that you can't even eat the pizza after you've taken them off. Their rank odors have seeped into the dough and ruined it.
After they were sitting around in the food poisoning range of below 160 F degrees for a few hours, I am sure they would be. LOL
I love them I eat them straight from the jar.
Who hasn’t tried a Hawaiian Pizza?
I like Anise and liquorice as well. I suppose it’s a bit similar?
Cyberpunk might not have got everything right but at least they made pineapple on pizza illegal
