Pinball Wizard - busking with a 12

...string, that is. Curbside music event at the neighborhood library, no electricity, so no amp or mic. But that guitar goes up to twelve!

 

Thanks, folks! It was more of a volunteer show, so no tip jar! But I met this other really cool group who went on right before me, and I played one song with them before they packed up, it was awesome! I wish I had video of that part. This was from like 2015. Since I can't play anywhere lately, I have been digging up some old videos from past shows, that I forgot I had.

With some friends at an open-mic jam. The lead guitarist plays a Guild Starfire, not sure exactly which model, but I think he was playing through an old VOX multi-effects board that had a tube on-board in the pre-amp. I think I dropped my pick near the beginning and had to keep just strumming with my fingers. I think this was pretty soon after I had gotten my Breedlove 12-string.



I found some old Hi8 tapes that I am going to try to get converted to digital so I can post some of that old stuff.
