Go get it. You can’t play music with your bank account. A year from now you’ll have a fabulous bass, and you won’t miss the money.
I've always wondered why they haven't made these since 1984. The original 60s ones go for $10K (!). I like the original design without the binding on the top. But, I won't ever drop 10k. I will see if one shows up used, and then likely can't resist. One eventually will. And I already have two rick basses...
Aye ,totally cool bass that,i should get one too, cause i already have a 6 and 12 string like that, would complete the set! Not going to happen though ,owing to me being perpetually broke, and,i'm not a bass player. Love it though.
You're in luck, only $5,149! Pre-Order Now! https://www.chicagomusicexchange.co...90th-anniversary-4005xc-amber-fireglo-1168178
Yeah, $5k is really lucky . My next expensive guitar should be white falcon. Or rick, or falcon. Or penguin....gee...
They went away because they were too expensive and they weren't selling. They probably will go away again for the same reason. Nice looking bass but not worth the money. I love my Rickenbacker but they are not very versatile.
Yeah, stupid expensive, but man I love those double bound bodies! If I ever win the lottery, I'm going after a 360/12C63.
