Maybe it's Grant Green-ish... which would be an ES330 type guitar or something made to look like it.
I'm going with either a G Love Corvette, or a Streamliner.
I would like a G Love Corvette. they are not easily found now however.
I know. I'd like one too!
I hoped, that the train would have these seperate areas with only 6 seats and I would find one, where I 'm alone.... Want to play !!!!! Now !!!! Unfortunately the ICE does not have these seperate places ahhhrghhhh..... This oh so nice modded Rally just sits next to me in her case. Other passengers sitting quite close, so I have to wait until I'm back home.... arrghhh
The Colour is green and wood grain shining through (hard to take a phote, that catches the colour right), that's why I described it as "greenish" when giving hints. Sorry, if that was a little misleading for some of you. As far as I can see, it has a non original bridge, pickguard modded and the Hilos have been replaced with vintage Dearmond Rowe industries PUPs - I played it couple of weeks ago and couldn't resist returning and pickin' it up. binding has only little rot and it plays really good with 10s on it.
That is very different as you said - not a typical Gretsch one would think of. Congrats!
Congrats man, looks interesting.
I have to also add, that the shop (more a bar) and the people there were really really wonderful, friendly, kind and passionate about music, old guitars, records, coffee machines and bar-furniture. I enjoyed the time I spend there, talking to and playin' for them ! Hopefully will return and meet / play there again.
KA-BAM .................THAT'S NICE ! Best with it and enjoy
That's really cool; I love it. Congratulations.
Damn it. Rally was my first thought, but went with the Corvette after further puzzling. Congrats!
Oh yeah, I dig it!
Great looking guitar! Hope that it is a keeper.
Keep it outta the case as much as possible or that "binding has only little rot" will get a lot worse .
They all go eventually .
