NGSD: PRS Floating Guitar Stand

I got an excellent deal on this and ordered it Monday evening - it just arrived

The box was substantial - probably weighing about 20 lbs.

Putting it together was simple and I cannot see this stand being knocked over without horseplay being involved (yup, I used the word "horseplay" LOL)

Yeah, I only take one guitar at a time out of the case and needed a stand for when I need to put it down but not put it away

I like the futuristic design

I believe the base is cast iron (at least that is how it feels to me)

The curved bar is metal (hollow) but I do not know what type of metal

Well they are out of stock down here in Oz where the best price is $279 . I did a web search and a website in India offered one at $1,792 (+ shipping!)
