I believe it's different woods, different fretboard, and different pickups. Cowmoo is a bit of an expert these days - he might know exact details.

I PM'ed him.. I think he wants to sell, not trade. He's looking to downsize.
  5. Congrats! Glad to hear you are not concerned about the curse. Some people are. Good for you!

What?! You are not aware if the curse? Ask cowmoo.

Modification? Are you gonna paint an american flag on it and mod it into a baritone? :)

I'm not gonna be able to finish the new mod today, so I'll just tell you what it was going to be: an aluminum pickguard. I've got it cut out, just need to shine it up and finish sanding the sides.

OUCH! 'tis true tho' Elijah, there doth be a curse, but only when 'tis I that be the seller.
I do believe my baritone has since been rubbing shoulders with Steve Cropper and the Animals, even Jerry Donahue may get a look in according to the new owner.

Be careful, the finish on these guitars will swirl and scratch just by thinking 'modify'!

Oh, you'd better believe I'm being careful. After rehearsal, the drummer usually goes straight for my guitar and starts playing, which was fine with my Pro-Jet, but I don't think that'll even be happening anymore.

I know that feeling, a mate of mine who plays drums would always get his calloused mitts on my guitars, while he dribbled and spat beer and dropped cigarette ash all over it. damn Neanderthal !
