Not home yet and haven’t taken any pics......any guesses?
No idea at all. You been buyin some weird stuff lately my friend!
Wayne Gretschsky's ugly Tele?
Your autographed guitar is ready for you after having the two autographs protected by your tech.....
Not another Rivolta?
Fender Special Edition Telecaster FMT HH!
This guitar is so smooth......all the way around everything is so smooth. Neck plays so good. The tummy cut is great and the guitar weighs 6lbs! The Seymour Duncan’s are great......SD ‘59 in the neck and a Pearly Gates at the bridge slot. It’s a wonderful Swiss Army knife guitar with the coil tap tone knob! Love it!
Didn’t see that one coming! Congrats, it’s awesome. I have the Squier version and I adore it.
I played it at Ken Stanton two weeks ago and just walked away thinking how incredible it was all around. A very premium feeling and playing guitar. And so lightweight! Put it out of my mind until today when I went back in to look at the Gretsches. There she was staring at me. I plugged it in and just thought “this is too good a guitar to not get”. It’ll be onstage tomorrow AM and I can’t wait.
Truly, this is the Les Paul for Fender players.
Wow very nice, how do the two pick ups sound with the tap on?
Had no guess, but this is a nice one for sure. I like these a lot.
That's beautiful! Congrats, Tony.
I’ve always liked the looks of these. Aren’t they neck through too?
I had one of those years a few ago - it was my #1 favorite for quite a while until the arthritis in my basal thumb joint progressed to the point that playing its thin neck became too painful to bear. They’re really sweet and versatile guitars; lots of tonal options. Fast, low action, easy to play... I hated to let it go but it became the favorite of the guy I sold it to as well.
Every comfortable guitar I own now has a medium chunky neck: G5420T, G5245, Ibanez AS73, Epi Joe Pass jazzbox, even my Squier 51.
It IS a thinner neck, but this one definitely towards the side of medium. After some lifestyle changes, it seems I can do mediums again.
Is it twangy like a regular tele? I’ve never seen that model before, real cool!
Congrats, looks like a lot of fun.
Love that curly maple top! Beautiful guitar TS.
Congratulations! I loved the SD 59 & pearly gates combo in the past
Congrats Tony. That's a fine looking Tele and I was not aware of them.
Enjoy playing that jewel.
Good to see you're helping to keep the Atlanta area guitar shops humming!
