What a bummer!
That is disappointing to hear Tony, you'd think the shop would've checked it's originality before listing it.
Yes. They have re-listed it now with the proper information disclosed.
Awesome Tony, I have the exact same strat but mines a 1979... same banana fade too!
yeeeah maaan! the curves on that strat are just right, skinny horns, is the belly cut skinny too? they just don't make em like that anymore. if it wasn't for the bullet truss rod that would be so hendrix! i really like that strat.
hey buddy life begins at forty, i turned forty recently and may i say we look good for our age.
Lol. It’s all good, right?! One of my best friends who has 20 yrs on me says there is only two ages: A) alive B) dead
I'm here to tell you that 55 is over rated
As one who is a LOT closer to 2x40 years old, I like that quote!
Sorry to hear, but glad you caught it now.
Concerning the original 78....
Let the Quest begin!
Just consider the alternative, now take an advil and smile.
I don’t know man....y’all make it look alright!
I'm kind of glad Tony returned the guitar since I was looking to him to gauge how many I needed. I just purchased my 6th one due to be delivered next Thursday (photos will be posted).
Do as I SAY, NOT as I DO!!
congrats Tony - I thought it had already been too long since you had a NGD.
Plus being your birth year geetar you'll probly keep this one
Congrats Tony, looks like a killer Strat!
Cool guitar. Like you, I am not a large Fender headstock guy, but that's a good looking guitar all the same. Enjoy!
You guys realize he already returned it right? Problems with it not being original inside.
Congrats Tony, 70's Strats can be really nice guitars sometimes, and the grey bottom pickups are delicious. My soul mate is a 1973 Strat that I purchased new. She's toured all over the world with me and will be with me until my dying day.
Really sorry the deal bummed out for you. I hope another comes your way soon.
I tried guitar lessons in 4th grade which would have been 1974 and the guitar O dreamed of was a Strat! Instead I got a plastic woolworths thing I could have shot arrows from. The store told my parents I couldn’t take lessons on it because it was unplayable. So in cake a ag sears knock off and an instructor that wanted to talk all class. Couple years of no progress and I gave up. But that 1974 Strat was the one I never got.
