Firefly ff338. I don’t understand.
Looks like a great deal for the price, sir! One does have to wonder how they can do it... have fun
For sure!! Will do!
Great review T, I dunno how they can sell at that price point since neck, frets, et al are good...
I'm amazed that a $180 guitar only needs a replacement bridge.
I mean.......I don’t either. ?!?
Loved the review, and I always enjoy hearing you play.....
Great review! I’m so weak, almost pulled the trigger on one after watching, Ha!
Sounds good. And apparently other people think so too because every single model on their site is sold out right now.
I think it simply illustrates that offshore manufacturing standards have improved, amazingly so. I mean they build so many of the "Marque" brands we by today, including Gretsch. I think what we are actually seeing is the impact of Direct to Consumer pricing policy's. So many middlemen are cut out of the end user price. Is that a good thing? Not sure it is for the brick and mortar sellers. It seems to be fine with even deiscerning guitar buyers. I love my Slick tele and Xavier 175 knockoff with GFS p90's.
Wow! Just Wow!
What a guitar! I likey!
congrats Tony & nice video review too..
Well if you wind up doing it and yours is as cool as mine.......it’s the best small amount of money you’ll ever spend!
Still might Have to get one, beautiful guitar! Only thing holding me back Is that I just bought a Hagstrom Viking and it’s great!
So true. I had a couple early Gretsch Chinese guitars, I was not to thrilled. I tried them again recently along with one from Indonesia, what an improvement. Very nice musical instruments now.
Listen to me - NEVER let something as inconsequential as LOGIC hold you back!
Good advice, ha!
Says it has a bone nut. At that price? If it’s real then it’s a pretty good deal. Usually the first upgrade to make is the nut. Pickups and pots can be changed to taste. So long as the build and fretwork are good it can be a good guitar. I already have a Sheraton and Ibanez AS93 so I have the full size semi-hollow area covered. Enjoy. Should be fun to play.
Nice, looks like a line sold here under the name of Artist guitars.
I ordered one of those but returned it as the fretboard had been peeled off. It was a tape which looked real timber (ebony ) but was less then 1/32" thick.
Everything else presented as the one you show. Without the peeling I would never have known.
Still amazing for the price.
Darn you Tony! Just when I was content with standing pat, you go and gush about that beautiful guitar . . . and yes, I did check out their website and the Firefly guitars on Reverb. That splatted maple semi-hollow is gorgeous.
**we need a drooling smilie**
How weird. This one is rosewood and it’s real.
And yep - bone nut. Crazy.
